Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct daily site inspections and report unsafe conditions or violations to the HSE Officer/Supervisor. Ensure workers follow company safety rules, PPE requirements, and site-specific HSE procedures. Assist in preparing basic safety reports, checklists, and documentation. Support in incident/accident reporting and ensure proper recording of details. Participate in toolbox talks, inductions, and safety briefings when assigned. Assist in maintaining HSE records, permits, and safety statistics for the site. Coordinate with site supervisors and workers to resolve minor safety concerns. Help communicate safety alerts, memos, and instructions to site personnel. Monitor housekeeping, waste management, and environmental compliance on site. Attend internal safety trainings and workshops to improve competency.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with NEBOSH IGC in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field (fresh graduates are acceptable). 1 year of experience in HSE or site safety roles is preferred; candidates with internships or training in safety will also be considered. Basic experience in site inspections or safety observations, with the ability to identify common hazards and report them accurately.
