Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Company: Bilfinger
Location: UAE (Al Ain)
Job Purpose
To support the implementation and monitoring of Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements on site, ensuring full compliance with Bilfinger HSE policies, client requirements, and local regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct daily site HSE inspections and report findings in Active / Bilfinger reporting systems.
Ensure compliance with Bilfinger HSE Plan, Risk Assessments (MSRA/TBRA), PTW, and LOTO procedures.
Monitor high-risk activities including excavation, lifting operations, working at height, confined spaces, and hot works.
Identify unsafe acts/conditions and initiate Stop Work Authority (SWA) when required.
Support incident/near-miss reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.
Verify availability and correct use of PPE and safety equipment.
Participate in toolbox talks, safety briefings, and HSE inductions.
Coordinate with project teams, supervisors, and subcontractors on HSE matters.
Ensure site compliance with client HSE requirements and UAE legal regulations (OSH / ADOSH where applicable).
Maintain proper HSE records, inspection checklists, and reports.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering, Safety, or related field.
NEBOSH IGC (Mandatory); NEBOSH Diploma is an advantage.
Minimum 3-5 years of HSE experience in construction, infrastructure, utilities, or industrial projects.
Good knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, ADOSH-SF, and international HSE standards.
Familiarity with ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 frameworks.
Skills & Competencies
Strong site inspection and hazard identification skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Proficient in MS Office; experience with HSE reporting tools is an advantage.
Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
