Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Implement Aldar and Parsons HSE policies, plans, and legislative requirements across project sites
- Monitor HSE performance and targets and recommend actions for continuous improvement
- Liaise with safety managers and contractors to support effective implementation of corporate HSE management practices
- Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with approved safety measures and industry best practices
- Review hazard analysis and risk assessment plans for key activities and assess effectiveness of control measures, job safety plans, and method statements
- Conduct regular HSE site inspections and report findings to the resident engineer for immediate corrective action
- Review and monitor contractors monthly HSE inspections, reports, and statistics
- Conduct monthly safety meetings, track outstanding issues, and prepare minutes for follow-up
- Review emergency preparedness and response plans, permit to work systems, toolbox talks, HSE meetings, and safety records
- Review incident and accident investigation reports, communicate lessons learned, and monitor corrective and preventive actions
- Maintain accurate HSE documentation and records in line with company requirements
- Perform additional HSE-related duties as required by project leadership
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree or diploma in a relevant discipline from a recognized university
- Recognized health and safety certifications and training in the UAE such as ADVETI, NEBOSH, OSHAD Qudorat or ADOSH, First Aid, and Fire Safety
- NEBOSH IGC Level 3 certification or above
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction supervision working as a safety or HSE inspector
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and construction safety practices
- Ability to attend in-person interviews in Abu Dhabi
- Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills
