Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough site inspections and audits, identifying hazards and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, proactively mitigating potential risks.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence, driving continuous improvement.
  • Develop and deliver engaging safety training programs and toolbox talks, empowering employees with the knowledge and skills to work safely.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and procedures, providing data-driven recommendations for enhancement.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field, providing a strong foundation in safety principles.

  • Holds a relevant safety certification (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH), demonstrating a commitment to professional development and expertise.

  • Brings 2-8 years of experience in a similar role, showcasing practical application of safety knowledge.

  • Has experience in the construction, oil and gas, or manufacturing industry, having a deep understanding of industry-specific safety challenges.
