Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee the management of all operational, HSE audits, and training activities
  • Review and endorse all HSE inputs on tender documents for all projects
  • Establish and implement short and long-term HSE goals and objectives for Operational, HSE training, and audits
  • Coordinate with the departments to set Company’s HSE targets and objectives
  • Review and update HSEMS / EMS manuals to ensure compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and local & international HSE legislations
  • Prepare a budget for HSE Operations and HSE training & audit and monitor the expenditures to remain within the allocated budget
  • Ensure that Corporate HSEMS / ISM / EMS (ISO 14001) and ISO 45001 audits are conducted
  • Ensure regular audits and inspections of subcontractor’s personnel, sites, and activities
  • Lead the conduction of Behavioral Safety Audits (BSA) and high-profile tours as per HSEMS guidelines

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 12 years of related work experience in similar industries
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental Science or equivalent
  • Diploma in Safety Management (DipSM) and/or NEBOSH/IOSH diploma or equivalent
  • NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA / OSHAD or equivalent
  • Certification in HSE audit is preferable
  • Preferably with experience in heavy civil and infrastructure projects.
