Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Implement Aldar and Parsons HSE policies, plans, legislation, and regulatory requirements on project sites
- Monitor HSE performance and targets and recommend actions for continuous improvement
- Liaise with safety managers and contractors to support effective implementation of corporate HSE management systems
- Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with approved safety measures and best practices
- Review hazard analysis and risk assessment plans for key activities and assess effectiveness of control measures
- Conduct HSE site inspections and report findings to the resident engineer for immediate corrective action
- Review and monitor contractors monthly HSE inspections, reports, and statistics
- Conduct monthly safety meetings, track outstanding issues, and prepare minutes for follow-up
- Review emergency preparedness and response plans, permit to work systems, toolbox talks, and safety records
- Review incident and accident investigation reports, communicate lessons learned, and monitor corrective actions
- Maintain accurate HSE documentation and records in line with company requirements
- Perform other HSE-related responsibilities as required by the project

This position works closely with safety managers and contractors to ensure full compliance with corporate HSE policies, local regulations, and international best practices.
Ideal Profile
- NEBOSH IGC certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in health and safety roles; motivated fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply
- ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification
- Recognized health and safety education, certifications, or training in the UAE such as ADVETI, OSHAD Qudorat or ADOSH SF, First Aid, and Fire Safety
- Ability to attend in-person interviews in Abu Dhabi
- Good communication and coordination skills
