Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
VALLO Holding is seeking qualified HSE Officer to join our operations in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role supports operational excellence, safety compliance, and company growth within the department.
Implement and monitor the company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular workplace inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Develop and maintain risk assessments, method statements, and safety procedures for operational activities.
Ensure compliance with ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety standards and ISO 14001 Environmental Management systems.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss events, prepare reports, and recommend preventive measures.
Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions to employees.
Monitor and enforce the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) across all work areas.
Maintain accurate HSE records, incident logs, and compliance documentation.
Ensure the organization complies with UAE health and safety regulations and environmental requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA is highly preferred.
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a Health, Safety, and Environmental role in industrial, workshop, manufacturing or maintenance environments is an advantage.
Key Skills
Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental management systems.
Excellent risk assessment and hazard identification skills.
Ability to conduct safety training and awareness programs.
Strong incident investigation and reporting abilities.
Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
Good knowledge of safety standards, emergency procedures, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to enforce safety rules and influence safe behavior in the workplace.
Strong organizational and documentation management skills.
