Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Implement HSE policies and procedures in hospitality and facility management environments (hotels, malls, residential buildings, etc.).
  • Conduct routine HSE inspections, audits, and risk assessments at managed facilities.
  • Identify hazards, recommend corrective actions, and ensure implementation of preventive safety measures.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses and generate reports with root cause analysis and action plans.
  • Conduct and facilitate regular toolbox talks, fire drills, evacuation procedures, and safety training for staff and contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with civil defense, municipality, and local authority safety requirements.
  • Monitor waste management, pest control, water tank hygiene, and indoor air quality in line with environmental standards.
  • Oversee the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices for housekeeping, maintenance, and contractor staff.
  • Support emergency response planning and business continuity measures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of safety inspections, incident reports, and training records.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) – Mandatory.
  • Additional certifications: IOSH Managing Safely, OSHA, Basic First Aid, Fire Safety, etc.
  • Minimum 4–5 years of HSE experience in the UAE within hospitality or facilities management sectors.
  • Knowledge of UAE HSE legal requirements (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, Civil Defense, etc.).
  • Proficient in reporting, auditing, and risk assessment tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with multi-cultural teams.
  • Computer skills: MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
