Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

رMonitor execution of HSE activities on-site to ensure compliance with project HSE plan and HSEMS requirements.

  • Assist in developing and implementing emergency response procedures and evacuation plans.
  • Conduct HSE trainings for workers on incident prevention, first aid, and safety awareness programs.
  • Identify existing hazards, unsafe work conditions, or practices daily; raise observation reports and record corrective measures.
  • Report violations daily and provide recommendations for corrective action.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to monitor and track HSE performance.
  • Orient employees on accident reporting procedures and emergency protocols monthly.
  • Conduct daily Tool Box Talks (TBT) to communicate safety measures before work deployment.
  • Ensure all employees complete site induction training before starting work.
  • Implement and maintain visitor, supplier, and project personnel induction programs with daily logs.
  • Develop written risk assessments for each task prior to commencement; communicate findings and recommendations to relevant personnel.
  • Inspect project-certified mobile plants, HSE equipment (harnesses, PPE, etc.), and log inspections monthly.
  • Inspect fire extinguishers monthly and maintain logs.
  • Ensure daily inspection of equipment, ladders, hand tools, and machinery by authorized personnel, maintaining proper logs.
  • Support HSE initiatives, safety awareness activities, and incident reporting aligned with company and IMS policies.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Comprehensive understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards relevant to the industry.
  • Proficient in conducting risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify workplace risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Skilled in investigating accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes, analyze contributing factors, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ability to develop and deliver HSE training programs to employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with management, employees, regulatory agencies, and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP functional skills.
  • Minimum 5 years of overall working experience.
  • At least 3 years of relevant HSE experience.
  • 2 years of GCC (Gulf) experience is a plus.
  • Experience working in hotels or hospitality projects is preferred.
