Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures in accordance with local regulations and company standards.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Lead and coordinate safety training sessions for site personnel, subcontractors, and visitors to promote a culture of safety awareness.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to integrate HSE requirements into all phases of construction activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety audits, inspections, training, and incident reports for regulatory and internal review.
  • Ensure the proper use, maintenance, and availability of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety resources on site.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and external auditors during site visits and inspections, ensuring full compliance with legal requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing safety performance data and implementing best practices.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture by leading toolbox talks, safety meetings, and awareness campaigns.
  • Minimum of 10 year of experience in HSE management within the construction industry.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing HSE policies and procedures on construction sites.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate site teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits.
  • Proficiency in preparing and maintaining detailed safety documentation and reports.
  • Experience delivering HSE training and awareness programs to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
