HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR
We are currently undergoing a search for a Human Resources Director with a client headquartered in Riyadh, they are a multinational business that has expansion plans across all 15 Cities of Saudi and opening 50 branches, they are operating within the new Entertainment sector.
This position is for a Saudi National only.
POSITION PURPOSE:
The Human Resources Director will take an overall lead in defining, developing, and delivering enterprise-wide people strategies that support organizational priorities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide strategic direction for the benefits infrastructure, performance management, policy management, associate relations employment compliance & recruitment teams.
• Provide expertise and creativity to develop HR initiatives to support business needs.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE:
• Broad deep knowledge of the Human Resources function
• Demonstrated experience in HR management with knowledge of the practical application of federal and state laws regarding employment compliance
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Extensive experience in designing and executing end-to-end people strategies.
• A clear understanding of how HR processes contribute to business results. Experience with best-in-class information systems across all areas of human resources.
• Proven leadership experience; demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop a team to achieve results.
• Successful in building partnerships with a broad array of senior leaders.
• Agility in decision making as well as the capacity to speak as a subject matter expert on topics and interject relevant external information into a discussion.
• Abstract thinking skills and the ability to challenge conventional systems and/or assumptions.
• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to champion change to support Company initiatives.
DEGREE OF DIFFICULTY:
• Establishing and learning an industry new to KSA
• Balancing the needs of a varied workforce
EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's Degree in HR or commensurate experience; an MBA or advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive human resources experience, including specific experience in performance/talent management, associate relations, investigations, employment compliance, benefits, and wellness.
• Exposure to best-in-class human resources functions, with a deep understanding of the synergies between human resources sub-functions.
This position is for a Saudi National only.
