Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed load calculations to determine heating and cooling requirements, ensuring optimal system performance in diverse environments.
- Design HVAC systems that comply with local and international codes, focusing on energy efficiency and sustainability standards.
- Create detailed HVAC design drawings and specifications using AutoCAD or Revit, facilitating clear communication with construction teams.
- Perform equipment selection and sizing for chillers, boilers, and air handling units, ensuring alignment with project specifications and energy goals.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with a solid foundation in thermodynamics and fluid mechanics.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in HVAC design, demonstrating proficiency in commercial and residential projects.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or HVAC-specific certifications like ASHRAE or LEED, showcasing commitment to industry standards.
- Experience in using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC load calculation tools, ensuring accurate and efficient designs.
