Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed HVAC system drawings, including layouts, schematics, and specifications, using CAD software to ensure accurate representation.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and incorporate design changes effectively.
  • Perform calculations for duct sizing, equipment selection, and load analysis to optimize system performance and energy efficiency.
  • Create bill of materials (BOM) and material take-offs (MTO) for accurate cost estimation and procurement.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Diploma or Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field.
  • Holds relevant certifications, such as AutoCAD certification or HVAC drafting certifications, showcasing expertise.
  • Demonstrates 3+ years of experience as an HVAC Draughtsman or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Exhibits strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other relevant CAD software for efficient drawing creation.
