Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead a team of duct installers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Conduct regular inspections of ductwork installations to identify and rectify any deficiencies, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Manage and monitor the inventory of ductwork materials and tools, ensuring adequate supplies are available to meet project demands.
- Coordinate with other trades and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of ductwork systems with other building components.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately plan and execute ductwork installations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or problems that arise during the installation process, minimizing downtime and delays.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, enforcing safety protocols and promoting a culture of safety awareness.
- Prepare and submit daily progress reports, documenting work completed, materials used, and any challenges encountered.
- Ensure all work is performed to the highest standards of craftsmanship, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in HVAC ductwork installation and supervision.
