Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop accurate cost estimates for HVAC projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other project documents.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to clarify project scope, ensuring all aspects are captured in the estimates.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, gather necessary data, and validate project specifications.
- Research and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HVAC estimating or a similar role, demonstrating proven expertise.
- Certification from organizations such as ASHRAE or AEE is an advantage, reflecting commitment to professional growth.
- Experience with HVAC design software like AutoCAD, Revit, or specialized estimating tools is essential for efficiency.
