Roles & Responsibilities
Join our Engineering team as an HVAC & Refrigeration Technician! At Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi, we believe every detail contributes to a comfortable and memorable guest experience including the air they breathe. We re looking for a skilled and reliable A/C, HVAC & Refrigeration Technician to help keep our systems running efficiently and our guests feeling right at home.
What You ll Do
- Operate, maintain, and repair all A/C, HVAC, and refrigeration systems, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, split units, exhaust fans, and cold rooms.
- Perform preventive maintenance and ensure all systems are functioning efficiently and safely.
- Troubleshoot and repair faults in heating, ventilation, and refrigeration units to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections and record all maintenance activities accurately.
- Monitor energy consumption and contribute to hotel energy-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and brand standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues with minimal guest disruption.
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma or technical certification in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven experience in HVAC and refrigeration systems, preferably in a hotel or facilities maintenance environment.
- Knowledge of refrigerant handling, electrical systems, and safety standards.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, guest-focused approach and commitment to high-quality service.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and on-call schedules as required.
- Must obtain certification or permits as required by local governmental agencies.
