Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on HVAC systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Install new HVAC units and components according to industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • Calibrate and fine-tune HVAC equipment to optimize performance and energy efficiency.
  • Conduct system inspections to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations for compliance and future reference.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • HVAC certification from an accredited institution, showcasing expertise in the field.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations, ensuring compliance in all installations.
  • EPA Section 608 certification for handling refrigerants, emphasizing commitment to safety and environmental standards.
  • Proficiency in using HVAC diagnostic tools and software for efficient troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to address issues quickly and effectively, minimizing downtime.
