Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose malfunctions in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections on HVAC equipment.
• Use technical manuals and diagrams to troubleshoot HVAC issues accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair and maintenance procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local codes and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Respond to emergency call-outs and provide timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work completed.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects and solve complex issues.
• Recommend energy-efficient solutions to improve system performance and reduce costs.
• Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies in HVAC systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC installation and repair.
• Strong understanding of electrical, refrigeration, and HVAC systems.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
• Valid HVAC technician license and EPA certification is required.
