Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose malfunctions in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections on HVAC equipment.
- Use technical manuals and diagrams to troubleshoot HVAC issues accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair and maintenance procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local codes and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Respond to emergency call-outs and provide timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work completed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects and solve complex issues.
- Recommend energy-efficient solutions to improve system performance and reduce costs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies in HVAC systems.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC installation and repair.
- Strong understanding of electrical, refrigeration, and HVAC systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Valid HVAC technician license and EPA certification is required.
