Roles & Responsibilities

  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop, implement, and execute comprehensive preventive maintenance (PM) schedules for all hydrophilic systems and related equipment (e.g., filtration units, coating application systems, humidification systems, specialized medical or lab equipment).
  • Corrective Maintenance: Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and process-related faults in hydrophilic equipment efficiently. Perform repairs, replacements, and adjustments to restore functionality with minimal downtime.
  • Installation & Commissioning: Oversee or perform the installation, setup, calibration, and commissioning of new hydrophilic systems or major upgrades.
  • Troubleshooting & Optimization: Utilize diagnostic tools, technical manuals, and process knowledge to identify root causes of failures or performance degradation. Implement solutions and suggest improvements to enhance system reliability, efficiency, and lifespan.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, parts usage, and equipment performance. Ensure all work complies with company standards, manufacturer specifications, and relevant safety/environmental regulations (e.g., ISO, GMP if applicable).
  • Spare Parts Management: Monitor inventory levels of critical spare parts for hydrophilic systems. Recommend procurement and manage stock to ensure availability.
  • Safety & Housekeeping: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols (LOTO, PPE, chemical handling). Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment within maintenance areas and operational floors.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to operations and production teams regarding the safe and efficient operation of hydrophilic equipment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on advancements in hydrophilic technologies, maintenance best practices, and relevant tools. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in maintenance engineering, preferably with hydrophilic or water treatment systems.
  • Familiarity with hydrophilic materials, coatings, and their industrial applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance management software and diagnostic tools.
  • Willingness to work onsite and respond to urgent maintenance requests.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
