I&C Supervisor at Barakah Nuclear Power Plant is responsible for supervising Instrumentation and Control (I&C) maintenance, ensuring plant safety and reliability, and leading technicians. Key duties include providing technical guidance on complex troubleshooting, inspections, and overhauls, managing work execution, enforcing safety and quality standards, and ensuring compliance with nuclear and industrial safety regulations. This role requires strong leadership and extensive experience in I&C maintenance, preferably within the nuclear industry.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance: Lead, guide, and provide technical supervision for I&C maintenance activities, including complex troubleshooting, inspections, and overhauls.

• Ensure safety and reliability: Oversee work to guarantee that plant safety and reliability are maintained, complying with all regulatory requirements, operating policies, and nuclear standards.

• Manage and execute work: Plan, organize, and execute maintenance work within scope to meet performance and productivity targets, while managing contractors and ensuring quality standards.

• Lead and mentor teams: Provide leadership and guidance to I&C technicians and supervisors, conduct pre-job briefs, and deliver safety messages to foster a strong safety culture.

• Handle technical issues: Provide expert guidance on engineering evaluations, operability determinations, and operational decision-making.

• Enforce procedures: Implement and enforce all relevant health, safety, security, and business continuity policies.

• Manage technical aspects: Supervise the configuration control of hardware and software, and provide support for the procurement of I&C parts and services.
