As an Import-Export Specialist, you will play an integral part in the smooth operation of our international trade processes. Your expertise will ensure the compliance of import and export documentation with local and international regulations. You will manage and coordinate shipments by working closely with suppliers, customers, and government agencies. Your role will be pivotal in optimizing the logistics and supply chain systems while minimizing costs and enhancing efficiency. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of customs regulations and trade finance, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to resolve logistical challenges swiftly. Responsibilities

• Prepare and process import and export documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with all national and international regulations and standards.
• Coordinate and communicate with suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies.
• Monitor and manage shipment schedules to meet delivery deadlines effectively.
• Negotiate freight rates with carriers to optimize shipping costs.
• Resolve logistical challenges efficiently with minimal disruption to operations.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all import and export transactions.
• Analyze and report on import/export activities to improve operational efficiency.
• Assist in the development and implementation of logistics strategies.
• Provide training and support to staff on import-export regulations and procedures.
• Track and assess performance indicators for improvement opportunities in logistics.
• Ensure the secure and proper handling of all international trade shipments.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in international business, logistics, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in import-export operations or related field.
• Strong understanding of customs procedures and international trade regulations.
• Excellent negotiation skills with carriers and service providers required.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using logistics and supply chain management software tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
