Qualifications:
• Education Degree in Cooking
• Achieved the required English level test
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen as a Chef de Partie (at 5 star level is desirable)
• With certificate/s in Health and Safety Training is preferable
• Policies, Procedures and Work Methods Knowledge/Familiarity is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Well-developed written skills
• Ability to work under pressure and as a part of the team, reporting to the Cabin Manager
• Initiative and ability to work independently
• Ability to demonstrate organizational skills, reliability
• Must be enthusiastic and guest-focused
• Cultural awareness and flexibility
• Creative and innovative
• For safety reasons to reach overhead stowage candidates must be able to touch 212cm standing on tip toes
Task Description:
• Prepares, cooks and presents dishes for First and Business Class guests in-flight and ensure that the food preparation tools and place are always hygienic and clean
• Prepare and present cuisine to First and Business Class guests in-flight, with the utmost attention to quality and detail
• Ensures all areas of gallery kitchen are kept clean, hygienic and tidy at all times
• Liaises and interacts with guests, confidently informing them about the First and Business Class menu choices
• Liaises with and assists First and Business Class crew as required
• Builds rapport with guests and aim for increase customer satisfaction
• Flexibility with rosters that may change to adapt to business needs and staffing situations that may arise
• Ensures a high level of personal hygiene and personal grooming at all times
• Complies with all relevant safety, quality, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
