Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and ensure the implementation of the school's academic curriculum, aligning with Indian educational standards and promoting holistic student development.
  • Lead and mentor a team of educators, providing professional development opportunities and fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Manage the school's budget and resources effectively, ensuring financial stability and efficient allocation of funds for educational programs and infrastructure.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with parents and the wider community, addressing concerns and promoting the school's values and achievements.
  • Develop and enforce school policies and procedures, ensuring a safe, disciplined, and inclusive learning environment for all students and staff.
  • Monitor student performance and academic progress, implementing strategies to improve learning outcomes and address any educational challenges.
  • Oversee the administrative functions of the school, including admissions, enrollment, record-keeping, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Promote and uphold the school's vision and mission, fostering a positive school culture and a commitment to academic excellence and student well-being.
  • Represent the school in the community and with external stakeholders, building partnerships and advocating for the school's interests and needs.
  • Stay abreast of current educational trends and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities for school improvement and innovation.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possession of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent qualification is highly desirable, showcasing formal training in teaching methodologies.
  • A valid Principal's certification or equivalent from a recognized educational body is required, demonstrating professional competence.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in education, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, reflecting progressive career growth.
  • Demonstrated experience in an Indian school environment is essential, ensuring familiarity with the local educational context.
  • Strong proficiency in English and Hindi is mandatory, facilitating effective communication with students, parents, and staff.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are required, enabling effective collaboration and relationship-building.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills are necessary, along with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities are essential, along with the capacity to motivate and inspire others.
