Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule inspections, ensuring alignment with project timelines and regulatory requirements, minimizing delays.
- Manage inspection documentation, including reports, records, and certificates, guaranteeing accuracy and accessibility for audits.
- Liaise with internal teams (engineering, construction) and external stakeholders (clients, authorities) to facilitate smooth inspection processes.
- Monitor inspection progress, identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies promptly to prevent project disruptions.
- Prepare and distribute inspection reports and communicate findings to relevant parties, highlighting critical observations.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of inspection procedures, codes, and standards relevant to the project.
- Track and manage inspection-related expenses, ensuring adherence to budget and efficient resource allocation.
- Assist in the development and implementation of inspection procedures and quality control measures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to inspection personnel, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a relevant degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; a solid educational foundation.
- Holds relevant certifications such as API, CWI, or CSWIP, demonstrating specialized knowledge and expertise in inspections.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the oil & gas, construction, or manufacturing industries; industry-specific proficiency.
- Exhibits a strong understanding of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations, ensuring compliance.
- Demonstrates proficiency in using inspection software and tools such as SAP or similar, enhancing efficiency.
- Possesses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with stakeholders.
- Exhibits strong organizational and time-management skills, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Demonstrates a proactive and detail-oriented approach to work, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
- Exhibits problem-solving and analytical abilities, capable of identifying and resolving inspection-related issues.
- Language proficiency in English is essential; additional language skills are a plus, improving cross-cultural communication.
