The Inspection Supervisor Shall Be The Day To Day Focal Point For The Inspection Personnel Of The Contractor, And Shall Report To The Company REPRESENTATIVES On Technical Matters, Planning And Progress, And PERSONNEL.
The accountabilities of the Inspection Supervisor shall include but not necessarily be limited to the following:
Acting as focal point for all Contractor and Company controlled inspection activities, and liasing between Company’s departments;
Responsible for logistics, planning and bookings for all inspection PERSONNEL and EQUIPMENT movements
Liaison with Company’s Inspection Engineers on content, scope and planning of work packs.
On a day-to-day basis, the Inspection Supervisor shall closely communicate with the Planner on the planning, progress, and scheduling of the SERVICES personnel and equipment, and ensure that any consequences of changes in available resources, delays, and target dates for start and completion of the SERVICES are implemented in the planning, of the inspection activities, and properly reported to the Company REPRESENTATIVES.
Ensure ad-hoc Inspection Requests are included in the planning process, allocate resources for ad hoc activities, identify and report to the relevant Company Supervisors on delays or anticipated delays due to ad-hoc activities or constraints in the execution of the SERVICES.
Ensure estimated duration of planned and ad-hoc activities is achievable, by using historical task data, and considering accessibility, logistical constraints and other governing factors.
Review and issue of work packs to all locations and review of completed work packs before issuing to Company’s Inspection Engineers.
To review and approve all related data and document before input into CIMS
Liaison between the Company and Contractor’s Management Team.
Maintaining records of SERVICES issued by the Company’s Inspection Engineers, and keeping amount of the ongoing status of the SERVICES.
Liaison with Contractor’s QA/QC Manager to ensure that additional instructions, which may from time to time be issued by the Company, are incorporated in the PROCEDURES by the QA/QC Manager and those PERSONNEL are made aware of such instructions.
Assign the SERVICES to personnel and ensure that the relevant SPECIFICATIONS, PROCEDURES and DRAWINGS are available to PERSONNEL
Attend Contractor’s operational and HSE meetings.
