Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct marine patrolling and monitoring across AD Maritime-designated zones.
- Perform compliance inspections of maritime companies, infrastructure, and vessels as per applicable regulations, COP, and ADMaritime procedures.
- Initiate judicial actions, issue warnings and fines within delegated authority subject to valid judicial authorization and in accordance with approved enforcement SOPs
- Respond to incidents and provide user assistance (minor towing, refueling, jump-start etc) reporting and escalating emergencies as per protocol
- Submit inspection, violation, and incident reports within 24 hours.
- Operate digital enforcement tools, including mobile inspection applications cameras, and, to document field activities and support enforcement actions.
- Collect and document evidence, including photos, videos, and written observations, ensuring proper chain-of-custody procedures for violations and incident cases.
- Engage with waterway users and operators, providing safety guidance, issuing advisory notices, and ensuring awareness of applicable maritime rules and operational requirements.
- Ensure HSSE compliance and attend mandatory training and drills.
- Maintain accurate and timely patrol logs, inspection findings, violation records, and incident reports through approved digital systems and MCC reporting channels.
- Maintain communication discipline and confidentiality per AD Maritime protocols.
- Act as the commanding officer during patrol operations, maintaining situational control and coordinating actions with the supervisor and MCC.
- Demonstrate willingness to obtain a boat driving license and complete required maritime training and certifications.
- Provide functional direction to the patrol boat crew during patrols and inspections.
- Ensure crew adherence to safety protocols, task assignments, and operational procedures.
Desired Candidate Profile
Educational and Technical Qualifications:
Minimum High School Certificate
Valid UAE driving license.
Language Skills:
Arabic mandatory: English proficiency required. (spoken and written)
