Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Inspector (HVAC) to monitor and inspect HVAC works at project sites to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards. The candidate will be responsible for inspecting HVAC installations, verifying materials, and supporting quality assurance activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect HVAC installation works including ducting, piping, insulation, and equipment installation.

  • Verify installation of AHU (Air Handling Units), FCU (Fan Coil Units), chillers, pumps, and ventilation systems.

  • Ensure HVAC works are executed as per approved shop drawings, specifications, and method statements.

  • Conduct inspections for chilled water piping, ducting alignment, supports, and insulation works.

  • Review material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements related to HVAC works.

  • Monitor testing and commissioning activities of HVAC systems.

  • Prepare and maintain inspection reports and QA/QC documentation.

  • Identify and report Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

  • Coordinate with MEP engineers, QA/QC teams, and contractors to resolve technical issues.

  • Ensure compliance with project quality standards, safety requirements, and regulatory codes.
