Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Scope:

Perform inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures of in-process and finished products of Precision as well as provide input data/data collection and confirm quality judgement to ensure that the manufactured products are of acceptable and consistent quality and meets the quality standards and customer s requirement.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform inspections of materials, subassemblies or finished company products according to bill of material (BOM) JOB ID, Item, Material and ensure conformance to product.
Conduct stage inspection to ensure that quality considerations are addressed and requirements are achieved at each stage of the product's life cycle in accordance to the specifications drawings/samples provided.
Prepare machine-wise and/or product-wise First Inspection Report (F.I.R), Work in Progress (W.I.P), and Post Operation Report and submit the same to the QAQC Manager on daily basis.
Identify defects and prepare Defective Base Report / Over checking report if the product doesn t meet the specification with approval of QAQC Manager and submit the same to the production team to take corrective action and follow-up until resolution.
Initiate Incident Reports for non-conforming goods, out-of-specification processes, in process failures, etc. Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing.
Monitor and ensure compliance to regular operating procedures during processing.
To verify and ensure correctness of code, date of production and other related information affixed on the corrugated boxes.
Follows simple, standardized and routine written directions for assigned quality assurance inspection operations.
Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.
To ensure all processes, procedures and activities meet and match those as laid out in company ISO and management procedures.
Perform any other job/task assigned by the QC Supervisor to accomplish department objectives.

Requirements

Education/ Qualifications

High School Education or Diploma in a Technical / Mechanical field.

Special trainings in Plastic or Tool / Die / Mould making preferred.

Experience

Minimum 3-4 years experience as Quality inspector preferably in Plastic industry

Functional Skills & Specific Knowledge

Working knowledge of relevant testing, measuring & processing methods and operations involved.
Knowledge of properties and behavior of raw materials used.
Knowledge of all types of measuring instruments commonly used in Plastic/Tool/Die Labs. Techniques in measuring colours.
Knowledge of quality standards and procedures.
