Job Description

An Installation Supervisor - Mechanical plays a pivotal role in overseeing the installation of mechanical systems and ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and according to the required standards. This professional is responsible for the on-site management of installation teams, coordination of schedules, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and maintaining high-quality standards. The role typically requires strong leadership skills, in-depth engineering knowledge, and a keen eye for detail. The Installation Supervisor must also ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies, manage project timelines, and collaborate with various stakeholders including clients, engineers, and contractors. Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage daily activities of mechanical installation teams on-site.
  • Coordinate project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of installation objectives.
  • Inspect installation work for compliance with industry and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and prepare detailed progress reports.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conduct on-site meetings with stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns.
  • Ensure tools and materials are available and in working condition on-site.
  • Develop and implement quality control measures to improve installation processes.
  • Train and mentor installation team members, nurturing a skilled workforce.
  • Enforce adherence to safety practices, reducing risk of workplace accidents.
  • Assess project risks and formulate contingency plans to mitigate impact.
  • Collaborate with project management and engineering teams for project optimization.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in mechanical installation or similar roles.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on motivation.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities for efficient project management.
  • Proficient understanding of mechanical systems and installation processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively under pressure.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
