Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Attend client meetings along with the sales team to understand project requirements and technical details.

  2. Develop design concepts, mood boards, material palettes, and presentation proposals based on client requirements.

  3. Suggest suitable finishes, materials, fabrics, and furniture solutions.

  4. Coordinate with the draftsmen/design team for preparation of detailed drawings and layouts.

  5. Follow up with clients for drawing approvals, material approvals, and design sign-offs.

  6. Act as a bridge between the client and production team to ensure smooth execution of project requirements.

  7. Coordinate with internal departments including production, procurement, and project teams.

  8. Ensure designs are practical, production-friendly, and aligned with project timelines.

  9. Support the sales team during presentations and technical discussions.

  10. Maintain project documentation and design records.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Interior Design or related field.

  2. Experience in hospitality furniture, joinery, fit-out, or furniture manufacturing industry preferred.

  3. Good understanding of materials, finishes, furniture detailing, and production processes.

  4. Proficiency in AutoCAD and presentation software.

  5. Knowledge of SketchUp, 3D software, or rendering tools is an advantage.

  6. Strong communication and client-handling skills.

  7. Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and manage project requirements effectively.

  8. UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
