Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Assess and define customers' values and technical requirements associated with each assigned project
Define appropriate solution using Musco products and documentation needed to support Musco's sales strategy
Create custom lighting solution utilizing proprietary software
Create built-to-order production documents including bill of materials, loading list, and special build drawings
Review project specifications and bid plans to ensure structural, electrical, lighting design, and controls are meeting the codes and requirements of the published documentation
Communicate technical information, both written and verbal, to architects, engineers, specifiers, sales representatives, contractors, and internal team members. Must be able to simplify and explain complex concepts.
Prepare technical presentation material and drawings utilizing CAD and other software programs
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical degree is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Fluent in both Arabic and English
- This is a key position within engineering, requiring a highly motivated, goal-oriented individual
- Strong written, verbal, and graphical communication skills
- Basic structural knowledge, including coursework in Static and Strength of Materials
- Basic electrical knowledge through education or experience
- Basic manufacturing knowledge
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and plans
- Proficiency with AutoCAD software
- Knowledge of lighting technology and calculations a plus
- Ability to relate computer-generated lighting models to the actual result
- Innovative problem-solving with a team-oriented mindset
- Familiarity with Musco solutions is a plus
