Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage acute stroke interventions, including the administration of thrombolytics and mechanical thrombectomy, ensuring timely and effective treatment.
- Conduct minimally invasive procedures like thrombectomy and angioplasty to restore blood flow in stroke patients, emphasizing swift intervention.
- Manage arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) and fistulas using embolization techniques, aiming for complete obliteration and prevention of complications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including neurologists, radiologists, and nurses, for comprehensive patient care and optimized outcomes.
- Provide expert consultation for complex neurological cases, offering specialized insights into interventional treatment options.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of procedures and patient outcomes, adhering to established protocols and quality standards.
- Participate in research and clinical trials to advance the field of interventional neurology, contributing to innovation and improved patient care.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Equivalent in Neurology.
- Must have completed Board Certification / Accredited fellowship or Equivalent in "Interventional Neurology"
- Valid UAE Medical License or eligible to obtain (DHA/MOH/DOH License) to start clinical Practice in UAE.
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in interventional neurology, showcasing procedural expertise.
- Strong understanding of neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and neuroimaging is crucial for accurate diagnosis.
- Experience in managing acute stroke interventions and complex neurovascular cases is highly preferred.
