Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and reconcile inventory accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Conduct regular physical inventory counts and coordinate cycle counts to verify stock levels.

Analyze inventory variances and investigate discrepancies, providing detailed reports and recommendations.

Prepare and maintain inventory-related journal entries and supporting documentation.

Collaborate with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to optimize inventory management processes.

Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes by providing accurate inventory data.

Support internal and external audits by preparing required inventory schedules and documentation.

Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize losses and improve efficiency.

Track and report on inventory turnover, slow-moving items, and obsolete stock.

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies regarding inventory valuation.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2-4 years of experience in inventory accounting or a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Strong understanding of inventory management principles and accounting standards.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

Effective communication skills for reporting and coordination.
