Job Responsibilities:
• Supervising the execution of warehouses daily activities including Receiving, Issuing, Storing, and Loading; updating the system in timely and accurate manner for Raw Materials, Semi-Finished Materials, Finished Goods, Packaging Materials, Spare Parts, Fixed Assets, and other items as per ISO requirements.
• Implementing periodic physical count of all warehouse materials to check the accuracy of system Data; investigating errors (If any), reporting and communicating discrepancies between system and physical count to the SC Director, and obtaining approval before proceeding with any stock correction on the system.
• Receiving services correctly on System and issuing them on-time to the concerned department(s) without pending items in the services location in the system.
• Reviewing documents of incoming and outgoing materials to ensure accuracy and control.
• Ensuring that all incoming materials are non-defective and reporting defective to the Procurement Manager .
• Implementing safety and security rules in the warehouse with special focus on forklift drivers, ensuring Emergency doors are in good working condition, aisles and lobbies are unblocked.
• Scheduling regular maintenance of the entire warehouse when needed including but not limited to floors, doors, shelves, offices and following up implementation thereof.
• Implementing good working practices in the warehouse including but not limited to; placing materials on pallets with nothing on the floor, arranging materials in a neat ordered manner, labeling materials properly, closing loose bags well after issuance, segregating rejected materials with a clear caption, etc...
• Monitoring continuously the scrap produced quantities and informing logistics when scrap stock level becomes high or when scraps are not withdrawn by customers.
• Ensuring that filing works of warehouse is done on time and in ordered manner as per ISO standards.
• Maintaining all warehouse assets in good condition and coordinating with Maintenance for any required maintenance job such as scales calibration, or forklifts repair, and following up until the job is completed.
• Monitoring the performance of the different storekeepers and advising them on the top priorities.
• Providing the technical support and counseling to all the storekeepers regarding the warehouses activities management.
