Instructor Pilot - IP (Basic)
On behalf of his Squadron Supervisor, the Instructor Pilot (Basic) is responsible for ensuring personal compliance with the Corporate Flying Policy, Local Flying Regulations and Fatigue Management Policy as well as applicable RSAF Regulations and Orders.
He is responsible for the conduct and delivery of the training service provided to Cadets assigned to him. He is to inform the applicable Flight Commander of any decisions pertaining to his Cadets which may negatively impact the delivery of the training service and determine possible resolutions to such decisions.
He is responsible for ensuring that issues which arise are in the first instance reported through his Squadron Supervisory staff before discussing them with the customer in order to prevent any reputational risk to BAE Systems.
He is responsible for ensuring the training service is delivered correctly to his Cadets affording them every opportunity to succeed in their training.
He is to raise Safety, Health and Environmental risks to Squadron Supervisory staff and offer recommendations to mitigate risk where possible.
The Instructor Pilot (Basic) is a BAES representative on the Squadron and is responsible for demonstrating the personal qualities and capabilities essential to promote and protect BAES reputational interests with the Squadrons RSAF Officers. The Instructor Pilot (Basic) is responsible for maximising customer satisfaction through the delivery of services of the highest standards.
Under the direction of Squadron Supervisory staff, facilitate the delivery of the Company s contractual obligations to the Customer, ensuring compliance with RSAF and Company training processes. He is to conduct himself in a manner encompassing Ethical Behaviour and Code of Conduct and maintain appropriate standards of discipline.
Complying with all reasonable instructions issued by company representatives and which are within the individuals capability and experience.
Your main responsibilities as an Instructor Pilot - IP (Basic)
Performing flying operations and cadet training in accordance with KSA Company Flying Regulations and RSAF Rules and Regulations.
Identifying flight safety risks and make mitigating recommendations to Squadron Supervisor.
Performing duties and delegated tasks from the Squadron Supervisor as directed.
Highlighting Cadet training issues to Squadron Supervisory staff.
Generating reports as required by Squadron Supervisory staff.
Self-monitor fatigue levels and highlight any concerns to Squadron Supervisory staff.
Advise the Squadron Supervisor of factors adversely affecting safe operations.
Your skills and qualifications as an Instructor Pilot - IP (Basic)
Ex- Air Force flying training experience.
Minimum of 1,500 hours flying experience.
Minimum of 800 hours fixed wing flying experience.
Minimum of 400 hours instructing at a Basic military training level.
Preferably educated to degree level or equivalent.
Ideally 100 hours of instructing in the previous 12 months.
