Job Overview
Dubai Heights Academy has an opening for a meticulous and proactive IT administrator who will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and integrity of our IT systems, contributing significantly to our school's success.

Key Responsibilities:
1. IT Support & Helpdesk
Provide first-line support to staff and students for hardware, software, and network issues.
Monitor and respond to help desk tickets in a timely manner.
Escalate complex cases to the Senior IT Administrator when required.
2. Network & Systems Administration:
Assist in maintaining LAN/WAN networks, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and firewalls.
Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and user account management.
Perform routine system monitoring and updates.
3. User & Access Management:
Create and manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
Support onboarding/offboarding processes for staff and students.
Maintain secure access and authentication systems.
4. Software & Applications:
Install, configure, and troubleshoot school applications.
Support the use of SIS, LMS, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365.
Assist in integrating digital learning tools into classroom use.
5. Hardware & Devices:
Maintain desktops, laptops, printers, projectors, and smartboards.
Conduct regular audits of IT equipment and keep inventory updated.
Coordinate with vendors for repairs and warranty claims.
6. AV & Event Support:
Provide technical setup and support for school events, assemblies, and conferences.
Maintain AV equipment and ensure reliable performance.
7. Backup & Security:
Support routine data backup procedures and monitoring.
Apply software updates and security patches.
Assist with enforcing IT and data protection policies.
8. Training & Guidance:
Provide basic IT training and guidance to staff and students.
Promote good practice in IT security and safe technology use.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in IT support or administration.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
Familiarity with cloud services (Google Workspace/Microsoft 365).
Experience in school IT environments preferred.
Professional certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL, CompTIA) are desirable.
