Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Manage the organization s local area network and ensure it is running efficiently.
- Oversee network security and identify potential vulnerabilities to protect data integrity.
- Install, configure, and maintain servers and other infrastructure components.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with prescribed IT protocols.
- Develop and implement IT policy and best practice guides for the organization.
- Ensure software licensing laws are being followed within the organization.
- Continuously monitor network performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Coordinate with vendors to procure necessary hardware and software solutions.
- Document IT procedures and create user manuals for staff training purposes.
- Manage Active Directory, group policies, and user accesses in line with security measures.
- Assist with disaster recovery planning and implementation to safeguard critical business functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in network administration and system security is essential.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including Windows and Linux systems.
- Proficiency with network tools, firewalls, and VPN technologies is required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide user training and support.
