Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Manage installation, configuration, and maintenance of all hotel IT systems, including computers, servers, and network equipment.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs with vendors or service providers.
- Maintain hardware and software inventory records and update system documentation regularly.
- Oversee network security and implement protocols to protect data integrity and privacy.
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and passwords following IHG standards and security policies.
- Provide technical support to hotel staff across departments, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Maintain, back up, and recover data in accordance with corporate IT standards.
- Ensure compliance with PCI DSS and other information security standards for payment systems.
- Collaborate with IHG s corporate IT team for updates, integrations, and technology rollouts.
- Conduct system audits, report findings, and recommend improvements for better efficiency and safety.

Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma or vocational certificate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in IT operations, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in networking, database systems, and operating systems (Windows, LAN/WAN, POS).
- Basic understanding of data security, firewalls, antivirus management, and cloud systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure in a busy hotel environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with hospitality systems such as Opera PMS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is an advantage.
