Roles & Responsibilities

Job Resposiblites

Jobholders at this level are experienced professionals capable of conducting work with general directions. They are primarily concerned with developing solutions to challenges which require some analysis to understand and resolve, and addressing issues escalated from junior levels. They undertake complex operational activities including developing of ZATCA IT infrastructure roadmap, project plans, and capacity plans based on new trends and cutting-edge technology. Develop the IT infrastructure RFPs and participate in vendors evaluation and selection. Evaluate the received change requests related to IT infrastructure and set proper priorities. Monitor ZATCA IT infrastructure performance, recommend corrections, and communicate performance reports to all stakeholders

Conduct research on the latest trends and cutting-edge technology of IT infrastructure, capture ZATCA IT infrastructure capabilities and technology, identify gaps based on deep analysis, and accordingly develop the ZATCA IT infrastructure roadmap to meet ZATCA Strategy and business objectives

Translate the developed ZATCA IT roadmap into IT infrastructure projects, develop the IT infrastructure implementation plan, and ensure proper alignment with IT enterprise architecture and standards

Collect business requirements, conduct analysis sessions with business users and vendors to identify proper capacity forecast for IT infrastructure servers, hardware, systems, datacenters, storage, and networks, and accordingly develop and maintain the capacity plans

Define infrastructure performance metrics, oversee the development of the needed monitoring tools and data gathering of the defined metrics, and oversee the development of agreed upon reports

Receive change requests to infrastructure, evaluate the impact of the requested changes on the IT architecture, and accordingly prioritize and plan the implementation of the change requests

Conduct requirements gathering meetings with all stakeholders to develop the RFPs related to IT infrastructure, evaluate the list of vendors based on set of pre-defined criteria, and participate in the selection of vendors and negotiation of SLAs in cooperation with the relevant stakeholders

Gather all inputs needed to identify IT risks that could occur through the introduction of new technologies, oversee the development of the IT risk mitigation plan and ensure cascading the IT mitigation plan to all stakeholders

Monitor the IT infrastructure implementation (including systems, application logs, storage, data backup and archiving, etc.) against set of KPIs, generate periodical reports and provide recommendations on needed actions for optimizations

Monitor the performance of ZATCA IT infrastructure components using the developed monitoring tools, generate the needed reports, and cascade the performance reports to all relevant functions for improvement

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent is required
