Roles & Responsibilities

Job Purpose / Summary

The IT Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization’s entire IT infrastructure, including network systems, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, data management, user support, and IT strategy implementation. This role ensures seamless IT operations across multiple countries and business units, aligns technology initiatives with business goals, and drives digital transformation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic IT Management
• Develop and implement the company’s IT strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
• Manage annual IT budgets and optimize costs through efficient vendor and asset management.

Infrastructure & Network Management
• Oversee server infrastructure (on-premise & cloud), firewalls, VPNs, and security protocols.
• Ensure 24/7 uptime and availability of systems across global branches.
• Lead the design and upgrade of network architecture to support scalability and redundancy.

Cybersecurity & Data Protection
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies, data backup, and disaster recovery plans.
• Conduct periodic security audits and risk assessments to protect company data.

Systems Administration & Applications
• Manage all enterprise systems including ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), CRM, HRIS, and email platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace).
• Ensure smooth integration of new systems and oversee software license compliance.

User Support & Service Delivery
• Manage helpdesk operations to deliver timely IT support to internal users across regions.
• Establish and monitor IT SLAs, performance metrics, and escalation procedures.

Team Leadership & Vendor Coordination
• Lead and mentor IT teams across multiple offices; ensure knowledge sharing and skill upgrades.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors, ISPs, and hardware/software suppliers.

Innovation & Compliance
• Drive automation, cloud migration, and digitalization projects.
• Ensure IT compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, and local UAE data regulations.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for adoption.

Reporting & Documentation
• Prepare periodic IT performance and audit reports for senior management.
• Maintain accurate IT asset registers, documentation, and policies.


Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience

Education • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (required). • Master’s Degree in IT Management / Business Administration (preferred). Certifications (Preferred / Advantageous) • ITIL v4 Foundation or Intermediate • PMP / PRINCE2 (for project management) • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator / Solutions Expert • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) / CCNA • CompTIA Security+ or CISSP (for cybersecurity) • ISO 27001 Lead Implementer (for information security governance) Experience • 8–12 years of progressive IT management experience, preferably in multinational environments. • Proven experience managing hybrid cloud systems, ERP integrations, and network infrastructure. • Hands-on leadership managing cross-border IT teams and vendor contracts.
