GCS is seeking an IT Signal Requirements Coordinator to support theatre-wide requirement processing in an Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) framework based on Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices. The scope of this position includes executing signal requirement processes and procedures to include receipt, validation, categorization, and prioritization of requirements for IT support, and serving as the Subject Matter Expert for related policies, processes and procedures. Position is located in Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.
Principal Responsibilities:
• Subject matter expert with mastery of established process and procedures, as well as inputs and outputs to/from the signal requirements process and other integrating processes, and the ability to clearly communicate process requirements to customers and other stakeholders
• Receipt, evaluation, validation, categorization, and prioritization of requirements for IT support
• Keep team and supervisor informed of task accomplishment, issues and status
• Communication and coordination with customers and other stakeholders to obtain required information to facilitate and execute requirement processing
• IT requirement processing to include requirement, stakeholder, and mission impact analysis to validate, categorize, and prioritize requirements
• Adherence to standardized documentation, communication, reporting, monitoring, and audit requirements utilizing authorized tracking and documentation tools
• Due diligence, prioritization and organization of tasks
• Execution of audience appropriate training
• Apply continual improvement and communicate lessons learned to further improvements in policies, processes, and procedures
Required Education/Certification/Skills:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in information technology network operations
• Demonstrated understanding of network topology, devices, and systems/applications
• ITIL Foundations Certification
• Ability to understand and adhere to policies, processes, and procedures
• Ability to execute adequate judgement on circumstances appropriate for independent decision making versus escalation to supervisor
• Responsibility and accountability for assigned tasks, executing with appropriate sense of urgency
• Proficient at timely, accurate, and concise documentation, facilitating quality work products in accordance with standardized processes and procedures
• Change agility and ability to excel in coaching style environment, being receptive to feedback and demonstrating incorporation of feedback into performance
• Must meet overseas medical deployment qualifications
• Willingness to travel with the military to locations throughout Southwest Asia, as required, to support the military customer at their location(s) via military air/land convoy
• Ability to work in a bivouac environment
• Willing to travel to overseas locations for a 1 year unaccompanied deployment
• Ability to maintain a professional and courteous manner in difficult situations
• Ability to perform and participate in a team oriented environment
• Effective oral and written communication with a diverse group of customer/stakeholders
• Excellent customer service skills and demeanor
• Must possess an active DoD SECRET clearance
Desired Skills:
• Good understanding of U.S. Military organizations
• Experience with ITSM frameworks and ability to practically apply concepts
• ITIL Intermediate or Expert Certifications
• PMP Certification
• CompTIA Security

• Familiarization with BMC Remedy ITSM Tool
