Our client is a well-established local organization and we are recruiting an experienced IT Support Specialist to join their team in JAFZA to provide 1st level support hardware and software technical support to end users.
Install, configure, troubleshoot, provide technical support and upgrades on laptops, desktop computers, printers, scanners, mobile devices, servers operating systems, IP telephony, operating software, MS Office including Outlook and ERP applications.
Perform routine IT tasks related to data backup, upgrades, updates, new installations, asset management and IT certification security, data protection and privacy requirements.
Essential Skills & Experience Required
4 - 7 years IT support experience in a mid- large size organization, with at least 2 years similar experience in the UAE with excellent Tier 1 working knowledge of LAN, WAN, WiFi, ITIL, Linux Administration, Active Directory, Microsoft operating systems, CISCO IOS, DNS, SSL, OSI model, TCP/IP protocols and applications, CISCO switches, routers and data cabling.
Strong background in root cause analysis and problem solving, end user relationship management.
Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
MCSE, MCP or MCSA certification is mandatory
Currently living in Dubai must be able to commute daily to JAFZA.
Fluent in English must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills with a customer focused attitude.
