Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for the following: IT Support & Operations Provide day-to-day IT support for desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and network devices Perform onsite and remote troubleshooting to resolve hardware, software, and network issues Diagnose technical problems efficiently and ensure quick resolution Helpdesk & Service Management Manage helpdesk operations and provide SLA-based support for AMC customers Log, track, update, and close support tickets using Odoo or similar ticketing systems Ensure timely follow-ups and closure of support requests Server, Security & Backup Support Assist with basic server administration, including user management and monitoring Support backup operations, antivirus management, and system health monitoring Provide basic assistance with firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint security Client & Internal Coordination Communicate effectively with clients, explaining technical concepts to non-technical users Handle client communication, documentation, and service reports Coordinate with internal technical teams to ensure smooth and timely issue resolution
Desired Candidate Profile
Technical Skills & Knowledge Strong knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 10 / 11) and Microsoft 365 Strong hands-on experience in desktop support, especially MS Office applications Moderate knowledge of: Firewalls, VPN technologies, IDS/IPS Active Directory (users, groups, shares, permissions, basic policies) Basic understanding of: Windows Server environments Cloud computing concepts Networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP) Familiarity with: Helpdesk systems and AMC account management Backup solutions (NAS) and endpoint security tools Soft Skills Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple tickets while meeting SLA commitments Customer-focused mindset with good documentation habits Qualifications & Advantages Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Electronics Microsoft certifications or CompTIA A+ strong advantage Proven experience in a similar IT support or helpdesk role – strong advantage
