Maintenance, upgrade, and design the EBI network infrastructure and associated processes.
Monitor and Maintain Network. Monitors and performs upgrades to the IT network at the EBI as necessary.
Maintain Data Backup. Conducts regular systems checks to verify correct backup operation and verify the functioning of the backup systems.
Installs hardware and software in accordance with the needs of the network.
Performs repairs and refers major hardware problems/defective products to vendors for service.
Help Desk. Provides technical assistance, advice and guidance related to the network system, hardware and software (and provides training/demonstration if necessary) to EBI personnel for problem resolution and effective utilization. If necessary, forwards the issue to the EBI development team (software and some system issues) for resolution.
Education & Experience:
Sc. Degree, majoring in Computer Engineering.
Minimum 3-6 years of experience in related field.
Ability to understand instructions and communicate in both English and Arabic
