Job Description
The IT Technical Support Associate is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users. They will diagnose and resolve technical issues, provide guidance on software and hardware usage, and ensure the smooth operation of computer systems. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric approach.
Responsibilities
• Provide technical support and assistance to end-users via phone, email, or in person.
• Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues in a timely manner.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and resolve network issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
• Document all support activities and maintain a knowledge base for future reference.
• Train end-users on software and hardware usage.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends and developments.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support roles.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
