Roles & Responsibilities

  • Accurately assess and determine the value of jewelry pieces, considering factors like materials, craftsmanship, and market trends.
  • Conduct thorough examinations of gemstones and precious metals, utilizing specialized tools and techniques for identification and grading.
  • Prepare detailed valuation reports, including descriptions, photographs, and supporting documentation, adhering to industry standards.
  • Sort and categorize jewelry items based on various criteria, such as type, material, value, and style, for efficient inventory management.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Graduate Gemologist (GG) or Accredited Gemologist (AG) diploma, demonstrating a strong foundation in gemology.

  • Holds a minimum of 2 years of experience in jewelry valuation, showcasing practical expertise in the field.

  • Demonstrates exceptional skills in diamond and gemstone grading, using industry-standard grading systems.

  • Exhibits in-depth knowledge of precious metals, including their identification, testing, and valuation.
