X Share Purpose To drive a light weight truck or passenger vehicle to transport materials or passengers to the specified destinations. Key Responsibility Areas: • Drives a low capacity truck/Van/Car primarily to deliver or pick up merchandise or to deliver packages or transport passengers within a specified area. • Drives multi-passenger vehicles to transport passengers between neighborhoods, offices and Airports. • Checks the condition of a vehicles tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, oil, fuel, water, and safety equipment to ensure that everything is in working order. • Complies with traffic regulations in order to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner. Follows safety rules for the safety of the passengers • Picks up and drops off employees/workers at regularly scheduled neighborhood locations, following strict time schedules. • Regulates heating, lighting, and ventilation systems for passenger comfort. Keeps vehicles interiors clean for passengers. • Maintains knowledge of first-aid procedures. • Maintains order among passengers during trips, in order to ensure safety. • Prepares and submits reports that may include the number of passengers or trips, hours worked, mileage, fuel consumption, and/or fares received. • Reports any vehicle malfunctions or needed repairs. • Reports delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations, using telephones or mobile two-way radios Industry Type : Logistics / Transportation / Warehousing / Courier Functional Area : Transport / Driving Desired Candidate Profile Key Performance Indicators: • Average time taken to perform the duty • Accident free and hassle free journey • Number of accidents for rash driving • Number of delays in journey.
