Duties and responsibilities will include:

-Facilitating workshops and conducting ENVIDs, Environmental Risk Assessments and Environmental Management Plans.
-Conducting and management of Baseline Studies
-Developing and coordinating production of Environmental Impact Assessments
-Providing technical environmental management system advice to existing facilities and major design projects
-Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of standards, methods, data and use of appropriate software
-Producing project deliverables on time and to budget
-Managing and developing clients
-Technically handle client meetings/workshops

HSE (Health / Safety / Environment)

Desired Candidate Profile

Interested candidates should have a good understanding of the technical issues fundamental to technical environmental sciences, engineering and management within the oil and gas and petrochemical industries. In addition, candidates should have excellent verbal & written English ability to prepare detailed technical reports. Preference will be given to those candidates with previous Middle East Experience.

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified to degree level in engineering or environmental engineering discipline with 20 + years of experience.
• Oil & gas industry experience required, other regulated industries (process, nuclear, transportation) helpful
• Technical safety or environmental engineering and risk assessment bias
• Good working knowledge of industry standard software tools/ Health & Safety Environment management systems (HSEMS)
• Project management in a consulting or internal service environment
• Good knowledge in Environmental Best practices and regulations around the world.
• Should have experience in the Middle East and be well versant with ADNOC code of Practice and have experience in preparing HSEMS in UAE.
