1. Planning, Development, Implementation, Evaluation & Achievement of the Organization’s Strategic and Tactical Business (in conjunction with other organizational functions), Marketing, Brand and Communication Objectives, Strategies, Tactics, KPI’s, Action Standards, Consumer, Shopper and Customer Insights, Rapid Innovation/Renovation Funnel, Media, Events & Sponsorships, Digital and Social media and Public Relations activities, both external and internal.
2. Marketing excellence, creating superior consumer & brand value and delivery of category/brand performance.
3. Controlling product cost, cost of doing business, and operating within the approved Budget.
Through the line P&L Ownership and Delivery for respective Categories/Brand.
Develop short and long term Plans for the categories and brands and effectively implement, and monitor performance.
Drive category/brand growth via active planning of 7 P’s (Product, Price, Place, Promotion, Packaging, Positioning and Paradigm)
Develop robust customer segmentation for the category/brands and assessing the performance in target segment (market share and brand health tracker)
Develop annual budgets, quarterly forecast and monthly rolling demand plans and reporting results of the department.
Ongoing market analysis to identify new marketing and business opportunities.
Overseeing the new product development process from the brief to prototype stage, through to commercialization and final market launch.
Management of external agencies in the development of marketing programs that meet the requirements of the annual plans, encompassing Advertising, Promotional, Packaging and Research functions.
Monitoring sales, share and distribution information on an ongoing basis across the assigned product group and against specific marketing activity in order to track actual performance against budget.
Develop the necessary branding strategies, advertising and promotion campaigns based on an understanding of consumer needs in order to stimulate consumer demand for company’s products.
Evaluate new ideas, strategies, tactics and processes in order to ensure that the Company stays ahead of the competition using superior marketing concepts. Design and install Marketing Information Systems which will facilitate key decisions in basic marketing like product, price, place and promotion
