Position: Central Accounts Manager

Client: One of leading insurance company based in Fujairah

Location: Fujairah

Salary: 15000 / month

Fluent in Arab language


Job Description:

Execute/manage specific and centrally controlled areas/functions of the Company’s accounts.

Assist Finance Manager in all areas of his job and especially in financial reporting.

Perform specific activities requiring following skills.

Skills:

Full theoretical and practical knowledge of General Insurance Accountancy from Bookkeeping to Finalization In Arabic and English.
Good knowledge of Arabic to the extent of fluently speaking, reading, interpreting, writing and translating to English all technical matters related to Finance and Accounts of General Insurance.
Minimum 2 years experience as a senior accountant in a General Insurance company in the UAE, preferably in a non-Takaful company, who has worked independently up to and including finalization of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts with a total insurance accountancy experience of 8 years.
Prepare/generate/review statistics manually or electronically, as and when required by internal and external auditors, actuaries, and regulatory authorities.
Prepare/generate/review standard and ad-hoc MIS reports, manually or electronically, as and when required by the Finance Manager.
Good practical knowledge of an industry-standard insurance ERP bundled with Financials (preferably ‘Premia’ with ‘Orion’).
Minimum qualification required is a B.Com or equivalent university degree in Finance/Accounts. A degree at Certified Accountant level will be preferable.
